Sleepless With Memory

I remain sleepless
Just thinking of you
I failed to notice
It's already half past two

Every second, every minute
Your thought is on me
Can't hold it, won't fight it
For it's my sweetest memory

I rewind the time and freeze the moment
When you're here for me to hold
I remember its warmth for a minute
Just before I go back to the cold

I rewind the time then pause
Long enough to memorize your face
With that smile that I adore the most
And how you bat your eyes with grace

It's a memory I will hold on to
One thing I would like to keep
Something I'll dream for a lifetime or two
Even during the nights when I'm losing sleep

Say I Love You

Can I say I love you
In a way that you won't laugh
Can I say that I miss you
Without you saying "that's enough"

Can I say that I dream of you
Without freaking you out
Can I say you're all I need to go through
Without dawning any doubt

Can words justify feeling
Just like the one I feel for you
And make you start believing
That what I have is most true

I hope they somehow do
And pro'ly make me start to sing
With part of my sould coming through
Searching for what's missing

And so can I say I love you
In a way that it'll make you believe
Make you stay for another minute or two
Or perhaps make you choose not to leave

Make Me Strong

Loving you made me brave
But it's your love that makes me strong
So how can I keep my strength
If I'll be without you for so long

You're the fire that keeps me going
The only spark that I'll ever need
Th elove that I yearn for
The one I would want to be with

But your absence makes me weak
It almost drives me insane
In the middle of a busy crowd
I hope to hear you call my name

For your voice is a sweet melody
Your smile soothes my soul
It keeps me from falling apart
Whenever I feel like losing control

And loving you makes me brave
Please be with me to keep me strong
Fate told me this is a waste of time
I wan it to be proven wrong

Can Never Part

The sun may fall from the sky

But it always reappear in the East

For daytime to its golden light

Is like words to a lyricist

Some things can never part

Once can't exist without the other

Just like you to my heart

When you're gone my soul wanders

Searching for comfort

Longing for your warmth

Can't wait for the next moment

I can lock you in my arms

To feel that you're with me

To know that you aren't just a fantasy

To let me know dreams come true

For those who believe in them fully

Because some things can never part

One can't exist without the other

And so I yearn to be with you

To know life and its wonder

A Poet Can Give

You're the love I come to know

The one I won't dare to forget

You're the one I love most true

Without a trace of regret

With a touch of this love

A poet I've become

I write lines that rhyme

That can sound amusing to some

The poems I write for you

Are not just words, though

It's the sacred part of my soul

That I've decided to show

I confess to you my love

I will stay for a lifetime or two

Words my not sound perfect

But they certainly are true

Poems are the best thing a poet can give

And so I give to you my best

As a man, I give you all my love
